PUPPIES: Starting at 14 weeks to 3 months old feed twice the adult amount. At 3 to 6 months old feed 1-1/4 times the adult amount. GESTATION: Increase from 25% to 50% of the adult amount. LACTATION: Feed 'free choice'. USE & STORAGE: Store in a cool, ventilated, dry place out of direct sunlight. During use, keep the bag closed. Consume within 30 days of opening bag. TRANSITIONING: It is important to gradually transition your dog from one food to another in order to avoid stomach upset. Start with a proportion of 25% TOTAL HEALTH to 75% old food. Slowly change the proportions over the next 5 to 7 days by gradually increasing the amount of TOTAL HEALTH.
Fresh water should always be available. Use these feeding recommendations as an initial guide. Monitor your dog's weight and adjust portions accordingly.
